Julie Aceves is a dedicated martial artist and coach with a passion for empowering women through Jiu Jitsu. Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Julie has spent the last two years training at Six Blades La Quinta. Before her journey into Jiu Jitsu, Julie was an amateur Muay Thai competitor, training for four years in the San Diego area.
For Julie, martial arts is more than just physical training; it’s a way of life that instills confidence and fortitude. Her own experience has taught her that martial arts train both the mind and body, providing the strength to tackle life’s challenges. As a coach, she is dedicated to fostering a strong and supportive community among her female teammates, believing that a united team is the foundation of success both on and off the mats.
Julie’s coaching philosophy is centered around the belief that martial arts can be a transformative force, especially for women seeking to empower themselves and each other.
