Ideal place to train Jiu Jitsu for all ages. Very clean and tidy with a lot of mat space. It also includes a solid array if weight training equipment.

My son is 8 years old, I have seen his confidence build up within a few months of training. It has helped him improve his sports game at school and in many other areas of his growth. Highly recommend to start young even if your older Dad or Mom there's an adult class as well. Go check them out and tell them Danny sent you.

Great place for all level of jiu jitsu students to begin or build upon prior training experience. The beginner program is a great way for students with no experience to establish a solid foundation of fundamentals to build upon. Also great refresher for higher ranking students. The staff is friendly, respectful and extremely knowledgeable. I love training here.

This is hands down the best place to learn and train Jiu Jitsu in the valley!
The head instructors are very thorough, give detailed instructions and will walk you through any issues you might have.
I used to train at another small academy and I always wondered if my professor was really as good as we thought, I feel this is a common question that every student must ask themselves but here at Six Blades there is no question.
The Hargett Brothers are the head instructors and they are world champion competitors, that are still actively competing now.
Six Blades teaches many lessons on an over all healthy active lifestyle, not just the fighting.

When I first came to the desert, I didn’t expect there to be any quality martial arts training. When I found six blades, I ate my own words. Between the staff and the other students it feels like a family setting. From the first instruction to actual sparring, I didn’t feel an ounce of pressure and I felt like everything was very well explained. I’ve had a little bit of training in the past, but Chris, Steve, and Jason were very attentive and very open to discussing concepts and movements I did not understand. Their understanding of the sport is equal to the highest level of competitors and I know that no matter what level I return out, I will always be both challenged and welcome as a member of the six glades family. I will definitely return if not for the training then just for the people of the atmosphere. Much love to them!

I started Juijitsu in 2019 at Sixblades La Quinta.. I found this place as a place where you can be comfortable in uncomfortable situation. Kids friendly, everyone is friendly except me?. Whole family could join this sport. My daughter and I love this place. I highly recommend this sport for all kids, adults and parents.

La Quinta Jiu Jitsu Families Took Over the Paintball Field!

The journey in Jiu Jitsu isn’t just about technique—it’s about the people you train with and the experiences you share along the way. And this past weekend, our Six Blades Jiu Jitsu La Quinta community brought that spirit to life with an epic paintball event.

Led by Professor Caio, who rallied the group and set the tone, the day was packed with energy, laughter, and camaraderie. From kids strategizing together to parents taking cover behind bunkers, it was a full-on bonding experience.

We believe that building champions starts with connection—and it doesn’t always happen on the mats. Events like this reinforce the teamwork, resilience, and joy we value at our Jiu Jitsu academy in La Quinta.
